We get this question a lot at ENVE: Can your rims be used for track use?

While we do not offer a stock track wheelset, that is, a wheel with track hubs, our rims are perfectly fine to purchase separately from an authorized ENVE dealer, be laced to track hubs, and be used on a track bike. The forces on the spoke holes on our rims being ridden forward or backward under acceleration or braking are irrelevant as our rim shapes and laminates are all designed to be stronger than the spokes. I.e. you'd break your spokes before you'd break or crack the rim under track bike acceleration or braking forces.

Besides the strength and durability, there are a number of reasons that ENVE rims make great track wheels. Stiffness, weight, and aero benefits of our rims create a great option for most track applications.
