Spoke Selection:
ENVE SES and G Series wheels are built with a bladed spoke mated to our brass internal nipple. There are a few exceptions to this. Our M5 wheels are built using Sapim CX-Ray Spokes with Alpina alloy nylok nipples and our M6 with Alpina brass nylok nipples. Our M8 and M9 wheels are built using Sapim Sprint J-Bend spokes with Alpina brass nylok nipples as well. The Foundation AM30 uses Sapim Race spokes. The Foundation 45 and 65 use Sapim CX-Sprint spokes. Replacement spokes can be purchased through your local dealer. Spoke nipples and spoke nipple wrenches are available on ENVE.com.Tech Notes:
- To determine which spokes your wheel was built with, look at the spoke head at the hub flange. DT Swiss spokes are stamped with a “DT” and Sapim spokes are blank.
- Please defer to SES wheel tensions for Gen 1 "Classic" wheel tensions.
Spoke Lengths:
Tech Note: ENVE’s posted ERDs are already corrected for internal nipples.
